It's that time of year again... Holidays!

Yes it's that time of year again where we all begin to think about booking a holiday. And with all the rain we've been having recently who can blame us?! Sunshine and warmth is probably on all of our minds. But with the thought of a holiday, many people's minds turn to working out to get that longed for beach body before going...

My newsfeeds on Facebook and Twitter are slowly becoming overloaded with people's statuses about going to the gym and working out to get that beach body. One thing is for sure, you will not catch me in the gym.

I do own a treadmill and cross trainer but the motivation of getting fit was soon lost when the bad weather of the winter came along. And apart from doing the occasional sit up exercise I do no exercise whatsoever. It could be because I'm lazy but finding the time to exercise is so hard!

I have invested in a pair of toning trainers though. I walk the dog most days so I thought toning trainers would do the job. And they certainly work. I purchased them from Sports Direct in the town where I live. They were down from £50 to £10 and they were such a bargain I had to buy them. Along with the fact that I'm doing Race For Life this year I need to walk a bit more in order to train (running is a no go).

As many people are hitting the gym to get in to shape before their holidays my friends would hurl abuse at me if I joined a gym. I'm a size 8 petite girl despite eating all the junk food possible. I can eat anything and not put on weight and this doesn't sit well with my friends. I can't help it! I've tried to put weight on as people think I don't eat enough but then when they see me eat they are shocked by how much I do actually eat. There's no winning with some people.

Anyway, I've managed to find a lovely holiday this year and I'm off to Tunisia in September. If any of you have been there please let me know what it's like as I've had many different opinions on the country.

I aim to enjoy my holiday to the full so you'll find me by the pool with an ice-cream in one hand and a plate of chips on the other. The whole point of a holiday is to get away and enjoy yourself and not have to worry about what you're wearing or what you look like. What's the likelihood of you ever seeing the people around the hotel pool again?! Enjoy yourself!

Let me know about your holiday worries or if you're hitting the gym to get a beach body!
