It takes one big thing to make you realise how important family is...

Hey guys and girls... sorry it's been a while since I posted last. The thing is on the 3rd of June I lost a special person to me. My mamgu (grandmother in welsh) lost her battle with cancer. So we've all been coming to terms with her not being in our lives anymore.

It's that time of year again... Holidays!

Yes it's that time of year again where we all begin to think about booking a holiday. And with all the rain we've been having recently who can blame us?! Sunshine and warmth is probably on all of our minds. But with the thought of a holiday, many people's minds turn to working out to get that longed for beach body before going...

Changing yourself for someone

Hey Beautiful People! After writing my last post on a character in the new series The Syndicate I remembered that I once wanted to change myself for someone. So I thought I would share it with you all and have a giggle. I say giggle because this didn't happen last year or any time recently...

The Syndicate

Hey Beautiful people! Any of you guys watching the BBC's new programme The Syndicate? I watched the first episode of the five part series and I am hooked.

After last nights episode I decided to write a little piece on it seeing as one character in the series stood out for me.

The series sees five people working in a local supermarket who are all having their individual struggles in life. But one night everything changes. They are all in a syndicate together and their numbers come up. With a few events happening in-between they win 18 million pounds between them (Yes I did have a sinking feeling inside wishing it was real and it was me winning that money... who wouldn't?!!).

An Inspirational Woman

Over the past 20 years, Delyth Griffiths has struggled with her weight.

Giving birth to two children and looking after them was taking its toll on her and eating healthy was the last thing on her mind.

Delyth was a size 8 all through her teenage years and through her twenties.

Let's beat Cancer!!

Hey Beautiful people! I'd like you to take 5 minutes of your time just to read this post. I signed up for Race For Life this week to help the fight with the big C. Not only is Cancer effecting millions of people around the world but it's effecting a special person in my family...my Mamgu (grandmother in welsh). Therefore, this fundraising race is close to my heart.

The New iPad

Apple recently launched their iPad 3 on March 7th giving people an insight in to the updated technology. The iPad 3 will be released in the UK on March 16th and it is much awaited. But, the piece of technology is not called the iPad 3 as previously expected. Apple have called it ‘the New iPad.’

The history of women's ideal body shapes

body shapes
Body Shapes
Over the years, women have come face to face with the battle of body shapes. This is not to say that only women face weight and body shape issues, men do too. But, through the 1900s women have been influenced by the ever changing ‘fashionable’ body shape. I have devised a timeline to show how women from the early 1900s to today’s women see their body differently and how much pressure they face with images in magazines.

How to feel good in your own body...

Like I said in my last post, we all get our down moments where we don't feel good about ourselves. This can be due to our body shape, size, weight, skin problems... I could go on but the list is never ending. The fact is that even the most perfect girl in the world has her flaws!!

Stress.. Stress.. and more Stress!!

Stressed
Well this weekend has not been the best. I am definitely feeling the stress of family illnesses along with uni work. Being in my last year of uni is taking its toll with the amount of work and the thought of going out into the big world of work is definitely a scary one!
